In house built for durability and convenient hive management, this 8-frame migratory lid is constructed from weather-resistant HDO plywood to provide reliable protection for your colony. The pre-cut 70 mm feeder hole allows feeding with a bucket feeder or standard quart jar, and a feeder-hole cover is included for use when feeding is not needed.
Pressure-treated 3/8-inch end cleats add strength and stability, while stainless steel staples and exterior-grade urethane glue provide a secure, long-lasting assembly designed to withstand outdoor apiary conditions. The lid is sold unpainted and ready for your preferred exterior finish.
